Here's our most frequently asked questions

Here are some common questions you might have to make your stay at the Anglesey holiday pods a bit smoother.

Access to the entrance is just off the A4080. After coming out of the village of Brynsiencyn towards Newborough, turn right at the brown sign for Caer Leb Ancient Settlement, then take the first left. The entrance to Anglesey Holiday Pods is on the right-hand side. Guests can also use the provided what3words location for easier navigation. If lost, guests are encouraged to call for assistance.

Where do we park?

Please use the designated parking bays available, which are strictly for guest use.

What time can we check in?

Check-in is from 4 pm onwards, and guests are welcomed with a tour of the pods. Earlier arrivals for arranged events such as weddings may be possible upon request.

Do we need to clean the pod before leaving?

Guests are asked to wash up dishes and bag all rubbish before taking it to the rubbish area prior to departure.

Do you provide cot beds and/or high chairs?

Cot beds and high chairs are not currently provided. However, guests can hire them from a local company that also offers beach tents, kayaks, watersports equipment, and more. Guests are responsible for all hired items and must ensure they are returned before departure.

Are pets welcome?

One small, well-behaved, toilet-trained dog is allowed in the Bryn Hafod pod. Dogs must not be left unattended in the pod.

Can you smoke in the pods?

No smoking is permitted inside any of the pods. Guests smoking outdoors should use the ashtrays provided and dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.

Any local amenities?

The village includes:

A post office (open Monday–Wednesday, 9am–1pm) selling local eggs, cards, and handmade gifts
A village shop/newsagent
A kebab/chip shop
Y Groeslon pub serving food and takeaway pizzas
Heritage coffee shop offering drinks, food, and cakes
Hootons farm shop with local produce

Nearby, there is a Co-op in Llanfairpwllgwyngyll and larger supermarkets in Bangor, Holyhead, and Llangefni.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Just had a two day stay here, what a lovely little place, it's so quiet & relaxed.  The pods are spotless, everything you need & more, even Olly ( the dog) was so chilled out. We were greeted by the owner, who was so helpful, she even offered to dog sit if we fancied going to the pub without the dog. Ample parking which is a bonus. It's a very child friendly place, there's a gaming room with pool table and football table, also a shelf full of board games & a comfy sofa. You won't be disappointed if you stop here.

Stayed at the lovely Anglesey Holiday Pods the pods are immaculate and have everything you need.

Great host in Helen she greeted us on arrival and we were made to feel really welcome.  Really thoughtfully done out with lovely little touches (Easter decorations in the pod, lovely fudge on arrival and the kids got Easter eggs ☺️)

Just the 4 pods perfect quite location less than 10 minutes from Newborough Beach it was peaceful & relaxing which is what I wanted, will definitely stay here again.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a beautiful and peaceful stay, and couldn’t have asked for more. The pod was immaculate on arrival and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, making it feel comfortable and welcoming from the moment we arrived.

The location is ideal, with plenty to see and do nearby, as well as lovely scenic walks right on the doorstep. During our stay, we particularly enjoyed visiting Newborough Beach, Foel Farm, the fun centre in Caernarfon, and Greenwood Family Park, each offering something a little different and making the trip even more memorable.

We would definitely recommend this place to others and would return. Thankyou for an enjoyable stay ☺️

The Lodge had everything we needed and it was very clean on arrival. Would've quite happily stayed longer. Will definitely stay here again., a very peaceful and relaxing stay. Helen was there to greet us when we arrived, made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Loved the fudge that was left, a very nice little touch, thankyou!! We stayed twice for two nights, with a four and one year old and it was the perfect home from home. Spotlessly clean, and the games room and space around the pods were a massive bonus for our little family. The pods are set in the perfect quiet location but an ideal hub for local attractions.
